I have written approximately 13,000 words so far in my current work in progress, 10 minutes every day for the last 39 days. That’s not a lot of words per day (334), but it’s more than I would have had otherwise. I’ve mostly enjoyed the process, but I do find it difficult to get into the heads of certain characters, at least at first. It takes me a few scenes to really get into them and get going.

Another work in progress is finishing Children of Blood and Bone (affiliate link) by Tomi Adeyemi. It’s a great fantasy novel and refreshing to read something different from medieval European fantasy. I’ll write up a review of it for next week if I finish it by then. I’m getting close, so I just may.
