4/8/2022: Those Three Words Are Not Enough

I decided to write a poem today. I hope you like it.


My body attenuates
On a frequency all its own
My mind wraps around itself
My heart beats for nothing but her
North is wherever I see
Golden hair and diamond eyes
Love is but a paltry friend
Syncopathic and false compared
To the rabid emotion
Sitting but a fraction below
My weak and unworthy flesh
Her grace carries me along with
